Our Sailing Areas

Not a patch on the Solent.

After long discussions with SWMBO we have decided to move to the Clyde, an area that I sailed for many years and revisited in 2011.

It will be a 7 hr journey to get there but we will be spending most of the summer on the boat. I have to say that the weather is not much different than North Wales but the cruising is so much better.

Look out Scotland Little Ship is coming :)

Tom.

Thought you were already here - Have previously passed you in the Kyles and saw your boat once in Portavadie. Do you just go south to park for the winter? Enjoy!

Only when you go ashore.

Actually they are just an irritant. Most active in the early evening in sheltered areas near bogs. Of course most of the west highlands and islands is near bogs.

Quite agree. Frightful place, midge capital of the world, did I mention rocks, Atlantic rollers, tidal races. Why anyone would live and sail there I don't know - oh! I have for ?????years;)

Hey-ho.

Silly me, I totally missed the point.:(
I must have been dreaming earlier - this is quite definitely the VERY WORST place to sail. There's even ANTHRAX Island just in front of my hoouse

I have it on good authority:

That the 'Cumbrae National Water-Sports Centre's' Pontoon/Breakwater has been fully repaired and upgraded ready for this season. :)

Is this OK?

That's good to hear - roll on the Spring ScuttleButt
How old is this photo - I see the original blue 'Bloo Hoolit' there - I know 'Bloo Hoolit Too'
Ash

Evenin Ash,
I just grabbed it of their (CWSC) site, as I was a little unsure as to posting their link due to possible accusations of advertising ..... which I just don’t want any more hassle from our Laura.

So is this any better?
