I have the chance to attend the D-day commemorations in June, we will be berthed in Ouistreham marina, as I am disabled and need side access to the boat using steps. Looking at a photo of the marina it appears that there are no finger pontoons out from the main walkway and the boats are moored side by side with just fenders in between. Could anyone tell me if this is the case please?

Couple of years since I was last there but yes. No fingers. Just rafted side to side.

Yes that's how it was at the last D-Day commemmoration I was at. You'd be much better off in Caen marina, which has finger pontoons.
