I'm sure I could look after any extras you may wish to bring back, totally trustworthy, though we may need to reduce the weight somewhat during transit.

Nope, can't find the 'butter wouldn't melt, innocent looking' smiley /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My son needs to book some days out of the office.

Out seems OK - leave Bradwell Thursday pm and head for Shotley. Leave Shotley at sparrows fart and get to Ostend before dark.

I was thinking about coming back plan so as to get back to Bradwell Monday afternoon (1700 HW) in time for son to drive back to Wales. Therefore aim to get back say 1500 and that means leaving Ostend on Sunday tea time - Bradwell by midday and sling the hook for a nap whilst awaiting water. Or (thinking as I type) leave Sunday morning and get in on the Monday morning tide. Yes that sounds better.

When do you old-timers leave to get back? (assuming no weather issues).
