fishermantwo, she is a true Swanson 37, fitted out at a queenscliff yard. If club bar information is anything to go by she was custom built for the CEO of Ford australia back in 1985. She has a bubble set aft of the mast (rather than a coach roof extending along) and has flush teak decks (proper teak about 3/4 inch thick), I'll try to work out how to post a picture of her.

If you have just bought her recently then I have probably seen pictures of your boat. The bubble cabin and teak decks was the standard factory build by Swansons. The long cabins came later when the moulds were hired out. More than 50% of 32's,36's and 42's were built by people hiring out the moulds and doing the lot themselves. Friend of mine built a 42 in 1970 in a fortnight, he used the bubble cabin mould though. I went up to Sydney 12 months ago to look at a 32 version of yours. Interesting how all the 36's for sale have disappeared, there were half a dozen for sale last year.
