I thought the good Captain was in the Canaries. The low appears to be north west of there. The Azores look like they're in for a bit of a pasting tomorrow, however.

Been keeping an eye on this unusual storm for a bit. It was due to pass close to the Canaries but went further west. Us and Fuerta may get a shower and moderate winds so we dodged one.
Madiera on one side and the Azores on the other side are taking a right pasting. Madeira news this morning reporting the deluge but no floods so far.
On our local radio news the storm was reported to be heading towards the Peninsular with flood warnings over most of the country. So do take care too!
