Osbourne Bay

All landing forbidden at the moment (though presumably allowed in the event of an emergency).

Government proposals to allow access for all to the entire UK shoreline are currently up for consultation and it will be interesting to see what happens with Osborne Bay if/when the proposals become law. I suspect there will be some exclusions, in spite of the fine words..... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

As mentioned previously, it's an English Heritage property, not National Trust, so you won't have been driven off it by National Trust employees

if you want to land there you can hire the beach for the day...i will cost you a few K.. I've seen a few weddings / marques on the beach.

If you beached your boat at half ebb by the time the jobsworths arrived you would be unable to leave anyway. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Couldn't you land at say half ebb, confine yourself to below high water mark and enjoy a few hours without stepping onto Heritage property?

No. Queen Vic changed it so that land on the IW is owned down to mean LOW water springs.
