look at the hourly rate... that'll work out at the equivalent of £13 K pa if full time

I worked for that august institution a few (more than afew) years back. For a 3 week stint digging in a Lincolnshire field, I had to go through the full civil service security check routine, pensions stuff - the whole 9 yards... I know a few folk that work there, and it definitely helps to have a "certain mentaility".
