ORS Marine

Has anyone dealt with or know about ORS marine in Lee on Solent?
Have been looking at trailers but they seem to keep removing them from sale and then they reappear again at different prices, also they say brakes disconnected, but just need re connecting, why would you do this? Not sure what to make of it all.

Someone else may be able to add more light than me, in my experience brakes are often disconnected by boat trailer owners as the drums rust up, brakes seize on etc. Basically sea water and braking systems are not a happy mix. I bought a trailer like this and had to spend a lot getting it sorted as I wanted to be legal.

Can't comment on ORS, but if it is an ebay listing I would check their feedback carefully and inspect before bidding. Given the marginal saving in buying used over the cost of a new trailer, I would recommend going for new if you can, unless you can find a really genuine one that has not been used in the sea much.

Just looked up on eBay and feedback not great, there's also a trailer listed that was removed from auction early by another seller and which was offered to me as just in stock on the day and asked 2500 its now on eBay at 1850, I'm in no hurry to deal with this kind of company and as you say there's little between these and new so will almost certainly buy new unles something in as new condition turns up soon.
