Just got back to office after an orrible day at work. Nearly smacked a customer cos he was taking the piss, discretion got the better of me so I settled for verbal abuse (see Gibbs your not on yer own) Been going backwards and forwards all day and made about Two quid (exageration) Can't get my bennets simulater to work and to make it worse Brendan keeps tellin me how bloody marvelous it is (thanks for that) to be fare on Brendan it would be easier if he wasnt dealing with a plank were computers are concerned. Working all day tommorow and probably Saturday too, untill 5pm when I'm off to boat no matter what. Off home shortly for a shower, some pork chops, a bottle of chardonay, a Romeo y juliet (cigar to the uninitiated) followed by some single malt and then to bed for ..... if I'm lucky.
Rant over for now.

What you have to remember is -" because work is poo, we get paid for going and because holidays are great we have to pay for them!!"
Never mind its an early Friday this week and a late Monday next week.

Don't worry, my weekend, maybe worse.
SWMBO hasn't been well for the last week or so, so its possible we may not get up to the boat this weekend.
And me dead excited about starting the season!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

There, there, never mind. Well just think of it this way, I'm working most of the weekend! On the water! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Er, next question! Why on earth do you want to use a simulator for trim tabs?

Cos driving a Cigarette in 50' waves with 50mph wind over 10knt opposing current from an underwater camera angle into the shore and bouncing off is great fun. That's why! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Uhmm, bit stumped then.

If you go to Start, Programmes, and run it from there, does the same thing happen? Do you get a dialogue box which shows some options?

I suspect your screen drivers/graphics card just won't support this. The rendering device should show the 3d graphics driver in use, so you most likely don't have one. Also internal settings within the program have 1024x768 as minimum setting.

The only way you are going to get this program to work, is to download and run on a more powerful computer with more recent and powerful graphics card (

I did a quick search, the S3ViRGE-DX/GX PCI9(375/385) card is quite old, and S3 don't support it any more, so it won't run with operating systems like XP - which isn't totally true as you can download NT drivers and force XP to use them, but that's completely off the point)

Not the same program, just written by same people. It has same computer spec requirements tho, so if one won't run, neither will other more than likely
