Orford in Suffolk New Years Day 2022

If any of you can manage to get you boat to Orford in Suffolk it is a lovely place to visit. If you cant get you boat there then by car is good as well.

If you are lucky enough you might get to meet the most cheerful Harbour Master in the UK .

Nice and peaceful - not at all like Southwold the same day. I have no idea what we were thinking in going there with the intention of having a stroll along the beach - we should have known better!

There were a few people about but we were there quite late I suppose about 15.00 so most were starting to wend their way home. Lovely pubs there as well looked very inviting but we are still keeping away from people

The East Coast always looks windswept and bleak at times.
spoilt by living on South Coast I suppose.
There used to be a railway station opposite the Jolly Sailor with a fish dock and loading bay immediately in front of pub

We do indeed have some wind here especially after the Sprout, bean and Boiled Egg Curry. The day I filmed this was particularly windy however as indeed it is most of this week
