ordering Volvo spares from the USA

I need a new circulation pump and was wondering if anyone had used Marine Express in the USA ? If their on-line prices are correct then it certainly seems a lot cheaper, although they are still showing the old code which WAS cheaper.

I havent but since I suspect I ned a heat exchanger element (£620 in the UK believe it or not) I would be interested in the replies you get.

I had to get a new heat exchanger this winter, and found that a FW conversion kit was cheaper than the heat exchanger by itself. The kit included the heat exchanger, FW circ pump, header tank, belt, stat, and all pipes needed for the conversion.

Freight and VAT are the great equalisers. If you add 40% and it still looks good it probably is. The freight is the variable; on some items the freight can exceed the item cost, on others it can be just 10%.

You might also be liable for import duty.
