Ordered staff from Marine Mega Store but....

In May 6th, 6 weeks ago, I ordered a bollard from Matine MegaStore, after me chasing them on a number of occations , today I was told that it is somewhere in their store room and when they find it they will send it to me!!!!!!!. They could not give me any date

I have found their customer service to be very poor on a number of occations. Am I alone on this??

I had a bad experience with them too. They are pretty disorganized and do not answer emails. I prefer the marinesuperstore.
 
I had this difficulty too... wouldn't return phone calls, and no one would tell you what was going on. I finally cancelled my order yesterday for outdrive paint and primer after waiting a month. Avoid them like the plague.
 
I have also had a less than ideal confrontation on the phone with them. I ordered a Nasa Battery Monitor, which was duly delivered, on time. The web page clearly stated that I would receive a 10% discount for my first order(which this was) I did not receive this discount, as the unit was on "special offer" and so no other offers were valid. What a bunch of cheapskates.
 
They say they have fishing equipment amonst usual other stuff. Was attracted by post free/discount if you spend over so much. I ordered £200 worth only to find out they had no stock at all. I chased, got my refund and that was that. MMS said as soon as they had stock they would let me know. I phoned a month later and found the individual on the end of the line either disinterested or could not multitask

I buy elsewhere now
 
No - I had a problem where they advertised one thing on their web site and did something else. In the end I got trading standards invoilved, who confirmed that (unusually) I was 100% right, but they still didnt sort things out and continued the advertisement. . Will never deal with them again

[/ QUOTE ] That, I suggest, is normal practice but it should say so in the T&C.
 
I found them very helpful, they replaced a led tri light bulb that I had managed to break before even using! So can't complain, sorry to be the odd one out.
