Copied from FB Med Sailing as it may be useful here The Cruising Association has received a report of an interaction occurring north of Tangier during the early hours of morning on 7 January, when the damage to the full skeg resulted in water ingress.
The crew managed to slow the ingress and made their way to Tangier under engine and wind vane steering where they have been lifted out.
We are most grateful to the crew for reporting this ordeal and relieved that they managed a difficult situation so very well.
