Can anyone tell me what this light means. My boat is a bavaria 42 built 2001. This light has just appeared
I have a similar light on my Bavaria 34. In 10 years I have never seen it on, but have always imagined it to be a low voltage indicator. I hasten to say, this is only a guess.
I can't quite see in the photo what the logo is next to it, but it looks like the one we have indicating that the shore powered hot water emersion is switched on.
Could it be a keel loose indicator
(ducks & runs for cover
On my Jeanneau everything is well labelled, and as the Bavaria panel only appears to have symbols on it I would expect there to be a manual with explanations. I wonder if that light indicates that an inverter is switched on.
P.S. there is a Bav 42 Manual on the internet, but it is for a US boat with a different panel.

Thanks - its not that - its on when the batteries are fully charged. I havent seen it on for the 1st nine years of the boats life. The manual doesnt help.
Yes that's what I thought and it is why I was interested in possibly seeing a better picture.Looks as if it's some sort of battery-related symbol.
Anything as clever as battery electrolyte level ???
