I got bored with my old online log so have started to design a new one. Any opinions, or criticisms appreciated. It would be nice to get feedback before I add the bulk of the content.

Note that the advertising on the top is only temporary - when the site is finished i will move to an ad-free host.

Home page loads but links all come up:

"You have accessed a filetype or folder that must be served from a CGI server. This means that this file may exist, but if the site isn't upgraded for CGI, it cannot be served. To avoid this message, do not name your files with a .php, .cgi, or .pl extension, and don't store them in a folder named cgi-bin. "

The 741.com log doesnt work for me but the free own host works fine. i had forgotten about the RAF frightening the life out of me! PS I think my keys departed through the outboard well yesterday, I vaguely remember placing them precariously next to the well .....then they were gone.So obviously being the only other person aboard this is your fault.

Every cloud has a silver lining ,I had to go for a sail this morning to have another look for them.

Nope,

Assuming you want us to visit the 741 site, there's definitely a problem here.....

I'm seeing your home page, or at least some of it.....but none of your navigation links are executing properly...

It looks to me like the PHP scripts you have written are in a directory that does not have executable rights, or doesn't have access to the PHP interpretor........

Regardless... when you get that resolved.... love the graphics that I can see.... very impressive....

Aha...

I think I should have been a bit clearer in the first post.

The links won't work yet as the host doesn't support PHP. I just wanted peoples general opinion on the design.
