I decided on the spur of the moment in a shop to buy a new laptop/tablet hybrid running Windows 10, to save always carrying the lappie for work and ipad for convenience. Whilst the salesman waited I googled to see if I could get Navionics on windows 10 and found an article confirming I could, so I bought the machine.
When I got home I found that Navionics had later withdrawn the windows version, and I can't find any other supplier of electronic vector charts covering SoF and the rest of the western med.
I have come across OpenCPN and downloaded it successfully, but still can't find any commercially available electronic charts for the area I want. I'm aware that it's possible to find a previous version of c-map charts, but it's available unofficially and you need to be quite tech savvy to know how to find and download it, which i'm not.
Anyone know of any charts that I can buy (my preferred option), or how to download the CM93-2 charts without unleashing a viral onslaught on my new confuser.
