Might have been tempted by my work list reads

Scrape off flakey a/f from last season
Put primer on any bits of bare hull that result
Apply two coats a/f
Repaint boot topping
Polish top sides
Clean deck and put on teak seal stuff
Clean sprayhood and spray on waxy stuff
Strip and service 5 seacocks and two bilge pumps
Revarninsh washboards, tiller, companionway woodwork.
Oil interior woodwork
Rerun all running rigging, hoping the mice don't break
Get sails from their winter holiday in the sail loft
Put back all upholstery
Put boom on mast, main on boom, battens in main
Put batteries back in
Dewinterise (summarise?) the engine
Replace anode
Put back electronics
Put aboard all charts, books, personal gear.
Restock larder and booze cupboard.
Persuade yard to launch (not difficult, they'll want their car park back by then)

i am not allowed to go wedding shopping on my own anymore
i did saturday

i spent from midday til 9:00pm in the pub.
i somehow managed to lose lots of money that i had taken out. this imbalance in my pockets caused me to fallover on my way home. i also managed to contract a mystery illness that struck me down sunday.
the rest of the weekend was spent in the doghouse.

i am being 'accompanied' to the tailors this weekend.
i fear anyone who goesnear mrs s2b is liable to get their goolies chopped off.
feel freee to try.

No mention of 12yr old Islay Malt in the invite so, sorry, can't make it.

Have a lovely time, don't drink the Blake's

Well, naturally - the 12 year old malt is included, anyway I've had a wee stroke of luck. The Brother is at a loose end and has had his services volunteered. Good Worker and responds well to the occasional clip around the ear - better at least than does Dear Heart.
Shan't be drinking the Blakes but there's a demon brew in the Lord of the Isles - can't remember its name which is probably something to do with the damage inflicted last time I was on it. Something Piper, Lorne something, Fyne something... oh dear.

If the choccy biccys were milk not dark then it would have been a possibility. But since I froze my whatsits off with a/f in January, I think I'll be sailing instead!

Feeling very smug today.
A/F - Done
Polishing - Done

Actually its all done. Rebel is back in the water at Sandpoint, and first trip 'doon ra water' is tomorrow once there is enough tide to get out of the Leven.

Saturday night - curry in Rothesay
Sunday night - mooring at Tighnabruaich

Envious?

ps All work was done so early that last sunday we went for a drive to Ardfern to have a look-see then tea at the Cairnbaan

Life just gets better....

Enjoy!

Donald
