There appears to be more than Android version of Open CPN.
Any idea which is the best one?

You should get Dave's - you have to pay for it but it's well supported. The free version is unsupported and lacks functionality in some areas now.The one from Dave register. There's another version but it's not supported and ancient.

They're usually quick to respond on OpenCPN - Cruisers & Sailing Forums though normally request that android things go on the dedicated andriod forum, which I haven't managed to get on to yetThe paid version is not that well supported. I have found 2 bugs, reported them both, but not had any response at all, not even an acknowledgement. One is a crash bug in a dialog which causes the app to fall over completely and Android eventually kills it. The other, more serious for me, is sending autopilot messages via a Bluetooth data connection doesn't work at all. Neither problem affects the Windows version.
