Hi!

Anyone changed the teak on a Opacmare passarelle (Model 1898/29 to be exact)? Wondering how to get it removed, especially the part over the swivel / base - the base part itself seems to be called 'optional round back fairing' in the documentation that found through google - but no instructions on how to remove the teak ontop of the round back fairing.

Seen a German firm selling teak replacement for approx €3000 so I'm planning on doing a flexiteek / easyteek job instead. Did the swimplatform in easyteek earlier this year.

I had the same passarelle on a T50. The (thin) teak bits are glued to a piece of plywood, that is just glued to the stainless steel. To remove it just use a hammer and sharp chisel to break it free.

I had to replace the small section as the plywood de-laminated. Cut a piece of marine ply to the right size, then I used black Sikaflex to stick it back together again. Flexiteak sounds like a good idea.
