Oostende. How long stern line Part 2...

Thanks to all those who posted. I presume that a floating line would be best since it would reduce the likelihood of fouling the prop whilst mooring/paying out stern line when motoring upto the pontoon and, later, reversing out?
 
We were in Oostende last weekend with the the rest of the Eastcoast mob didnt by and additional line as all ourr mooring warps are 15m long.
Picked up the mooring bouy no problem but need an additional warp attached.
On leaving due to the knots in the warps decided to pull the warp aboard before motoring astern out of our berth all went pretty smoothly.
Was the first time for us with this type of mooring but found it less hassel than some pontoon berths
 
it is now easier as the buoys are bigger & more buoyant than the old polystyrene ones + they are also further from the linear pontoons giving more room to maneuver.
knotted lines are a pain if its windy & will snarl-up adding to your probs especially 2 up
