Posted on the Jotun AF thread but it has become submerged - so starting a new post.

Bought 2 x 5l of SeaQueen Black this week.

Was going to store unopened onboard to apply c2015/16 in some foreign land far, far away .

I see it has a 'shelf-life' of only 6 months & the official 'use by' date on the tins is 17/4/14.

Of course, it may be OK in 18-24 months time, it may not.

I really don't want to carry it round (& apply it) if there's a chance it will be no good.

See post #8

So does any East coaster want to take this off my hands (I assume that you will be a professional user & take all the necessary H&S precautions) :encouragement: .

£90 per 5l can or £175 for 2.

Pick up IP17 or SYH (would meet at Fox's as well, or places between).

PM me if interested

I am interested, we have used Inter Micron Extra so my Q is do we have to prime over first or can I apply over the existing? Perhaps the data sheet with your tins may offer guidance? I have seen a Jotun kit which seems to me to suggest priming is necessary.
Thanks Ben

I'm just wondering about the use by dates on this sort of stuff , does it really "go off" if not used by said date and be no use if applied say 6 months after ? Or is just a way of stopping people buying a lot at a knockdown price and holding on to it for 5 or 6 years ? ......
