The relaxing of the speed limits in Poole Harbour were clearly too much for someone, who promptly committed Hara-Kiri on the beach......

I spent a couple of hours outside the Haven hotel yesterday watching the comings and goings. The Harbour Master was bobbing around by the harbour entrance
and had to remind a number of mobos that the 10 knot limit still applies on the approach to the Chain Ferry both outbound and inbound.

Is that a veiled way of saying it was your boat ;)

Well the harbourmaster was not there all the time as he was out celebrating the lifting of speed restrictions by doing do-nuts in the main part of the harbour, it looked like he was having fun.

Oops........didn't realise that bit!

The beached yacht was, apparently a planned event by the skipper.
