Of course, I don't know everything about Mallorca, but, after a lot of investigation, I decided to have the extensive renovation works my boat needed done on the peninsula.
The reasons beeing :
- prices enormously cheaper, up to 50% cheaper,
- yards willing to issue complete and binding price estimate,
- as well as better, even if not absolutely convincing, planning.
- my feeling is that they would even accept penalties clauses if one would insist.
My boat is currently at the Belliure yard at Puerto Campomanes, near Altea, and I am so far very satisfied with both the progress, and the quality of the job done.
I have no other connection to them than being a satisfied client.
