Ooohh...I\'ve been red carded !
Got my first red card at Hambledon Lock this morning.
River was a good 6" lower than last night when I woke up so decided to move further downstream. Tried ringing Reading Area Office for river conditions update but no reply /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif so decided to head down anyways and see how it went.
A few boats moving, Lockie at Hambledon duly gave me the card and exited the lock with some caution as Hambledon Weir runs quite strongly across the channel.
Had to give her a bit of welly but safely thru and a relatively uneventful run down to Marlow where now moored up on the park.
Reds all the way down the river apparently and not particularly nice boating weather.
Passed Alaska toodling up and down the Marlow stretch with a film crew on board.
