So us med boaters will be flying to (or already in) lovely warm resorts near the sea, messing about on boats, and might even meet up together. Meanwhile the uk lot will be

a) sweeping water of the decks
b) complaining that the sun canopies are leaky
c) at work
d) showing off their "tan" after (wow) two sunny days in the uk
e) going to buy/fix/dig out the jet wash cos the water pressure in uk is rubbish

hah!

Funny as the weather has been shite for the last 4 months and as soon as I get my boat in the water I have flat seas and sunshine for my 2 week holiday except for one voyage out of seven must be a new record.

Dom

I am boating again ;-)

The Med.
Whats your poison? mercury or arsenic perhaps or maybe something short term like the raw sewage pumped into the sea 80% of which has never been near any treatment plant*.
As for the Medway perhaps a bit of fishing up river for the odd salmon or maybe a walk along the river bank looking for otters might be of interest.
