A beautiful picture of the Roach, from the end of the pontoons at Wakering YC, Rochford.
This is about 3 hours after high water today.

If you can believe it, there is an old large Minesweeper upstream of this!

Nowhere near Ivans boat yard - that was in Wakering. This is the head of the Roach.

he has gone to meet his maker now.

Did you have sushine today????

It was a bit Elkie Brooks here today.....

I wanna see the sunshine after the rain........

which , fortunately, is exactly what happened.

The view from my boat just after sunrise (and low water) on Saturday morning before the recent B Hol.

The same stretch of water looking from a slightly different angle but a bit closer to high water. Deceiving.....

Nice pics Jim, and a moody looking sky. We used to see more of this before that East Coast Forum started.

Gave the rest of us something to feel smug about..... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Only kidding. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Donald, that could indeed be a valid point. I, for one, don't post many pics here from the East coast, so maybe I should.
I think the problem is that we, by no conscious effort, have spawned a community of very like minded folk, and we have 6 or more meetings a year, often attendances of 40 plus.

Yes, I accept your point. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Here is one I took earlier in the year.

As you know, it's very different from where we are, but it is because of pics like your first one of the half drained creek that give the rest of us an appreciation of your area. Liked the gaff rigged boat - Ransome stuff.

I will be sailing out of Largs for a week starting next Friday.
I can assure you the camera will be used frequently.

Pete Cooper has the itinerary, he is joining us for 4 days.

Not unless they moved it /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Found myself heading in to KL but changed my mind when I looked at the chart and saw what a certain sand bank is called /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
