Was down at the boat yesterday to check her over and start the long list of jobs ready for the new season.
Ive got a Mercruiser Mag 350 that is normally as good as gold when it comes to starting, but yesterday was having none of it!! It would quite happily turn over and splutter occassionally...but just wouldn't fire. I didn't have my tools with me yesterday, so didn't take anything apart, just prodded around the wire clips etc....
When I arrived the cockpit and engine room was very damp after all the snow, so I'm putting it down to a bit of condensation in the distributor, with the hope when I return, she'll do as normal and fire first time......but if she doesn't, anyone got any pointers on where to start??
Regards,
Paul.
