Of drifting gently back up the Crouch on Sunday afternoon or any day really is the camaraderie of the sea, with friendly waves and shouted greetings from most boats. However looking through the threads there were clearly a lot of ECM contributers out there.

I am hopeless at names but it would have been nice to give an extra wave to forumites. Perhaps we need an ECF burgee. Probably been suggested before.... But a search revealed nothing??

I'd support the idea of an ECF burgee, but I think there might already be one. I don't know who or what but for some reason I have the idea that there was something along the lines of a sunset on a blue background. Have to ask some of the 'oldies' here (as opposed to us newbies:cool: :D).

If there isn't one, I don't mind arranging one if someone wants to come with ideas for a design.

Rather than a burgee how about a house flag? Basically a rectangular burgee!

It could incorporte a bit of the YBW design - perhaps have the mouse sitting on a sandbank next to Rogers Dange Deep Water buoy?

:D

I'd second that....... Rogers deep water bouy on a burgee...... also what about some sort of tie pin thingy we could wear on our t-shirts (it'd be great for when we next try to have a piss up in a pub but no one knows anyone!! lol - that still makes me giggle!!! :D )

Will this become a club?

Whilst I do,like the idea of a burgee.. And the drunk mouse seems quite appropriate...

What I also like about ECMF is the fact it is totally informal and there are no rules, no committee, no membership secretary... I would be concerned that a Burgee may get followed by a membership of some sort and it could become a proper club... Which is really not what we seem to be about..

I suppose we could create merry mayhem by hoisting flags ECF.. I am sure it has a code meaning but I have not found out what...

This is a flag code that is not allocated a meaning.

I could suggest that it be used to indicate ECF

I can not find a code using ECF flags so would be o.k. as well.
