Durin the last few days of my boating which many have read, on my trip down the Hamble i saw the fuel prices, 160 ish:eek: thats like 20p per liter more than at the road pump. I thought there was some discount on fuel or is that just the likes of MDL mariners etc?

Mrs said that the boats there will have no choice but to pay (not that fuel costs would bother some of the owners on the boats i saw) Not as if a 20L jerry can will suffice like it does for me:)

Now to turn my spam button off and get on with some drinking as i still have 2 days off:D

That's not too bad...

I was told a few months back to expect to pay around £1.85/L for unleaded on the Dart, and similar in the marinas of Torquay/Brixham! :( Thankfully our boat is small, trailered, does 0.7L per mile and I can carry 70L... :) However, like you I'm looking to move to a 21' Cuddy (5L V8) - I'll still launch/recover, fill at the garage and will carry more fuel too, but the 0.7L/mile will be but a fading memory...
