The drive is also pretty fabulous with Cassis and the Calanques, La Ciotat and many other great places

Yes. Could not even do that without the maintenance crew aboard. Surely a carrier should be able to do a short jaunt & back home easily. Or is it designed by the same mob that designs EVs for public highways?
The final drive system has been a problem since launch. I seem to recall ( but I may be corrected here) that the BBC did a documentary circa the time of covid when that trip may have taken place. The carrier was held up for a while due to shaft vibration issues. They did not dwell on it too long though.

I think that there is a carrier sized gap in your nautical knowledge. :)

If you look at the HMS Warrior webcam site at around 1215 tomorrow, you may be able to start filling the canyon. (y)

Why? are you suggesting one of our carriers will be setting off to sea. Have the fleet air arm agreed to supply its aeroplane? Have the French agreed to send a supply ship with garlic onions & arms? Is that true that we cannot send our one (one?  yes one, because some wise person flogged the other two) because we have no one to crew it?
Or will it be going on the NATO exercise - not to do anything, because it cannot without any aeroplanes- but to look good,? .;)🤣
Still, we can always make out we have sent a submarine, because being under the water no one will know that they are not actually there-- but in dock being repaired:rolleyes:
