A few days ago I posted a request for a suitable fixed connector for shore power input to my boat.
For those interested in such a product I found the following item in my local chandlers (Duncans of Glasgow)
It is a MARINCO fixed socket for placing in a locker etc, with a really waterproof connector to attach to the end of your wander lead.
Look up MARINCO on the web to seed what I mean.

These are the best and don t need to go in the locker as totally waterproof but they are expensive....They are standard equipment on american boats for the US markets and come in a 110 volt and 230 volt version.
