Hello, I see there are some people here with narrow boats / barges.

Could anyone tell me, just how restricted are you, in terms of where you can & can't go throughout the UK, with a wide beam barge, as opposed to a narrow boat?

There's an inland waterway route planner here:

If you go to options and fill in your beam, you can select starting and finishing locations, and it will show you which routes you can and cannot take (tip, fill in your beam as 100' and it will show all possible routes between those two locations, with maximum beam on that route)
