Thanks! I've wanted one of these for ages, but haven't been able to find one.
Will now rush out and buy one.
I don't care if its illegal, I intend to fly it.

Good site,
Just ordered a set of 40 code flags. The price very much appeals to me. Half the price of anywhere else even with carrage included.

Flags, impressive service

Ordered on the third - arrived here (North of Scotland) on the morning of the forth. Very impressed. Can see me ordering one of the 'proper' ones.

Petty patriotism

As a Scot who's been living in England for more than 25 years I never cease to be amazed at my fellow countrymens' petty partriotism. Using a non flag which went out of use in 1707 (year of the Union of the Parliaments I think) is just another example.

To be wound up by patriotism seems a little odd to me - if it was nationalism then I would understand but if people have pride in their country then what is wrong with that? If rules changed to dictate that all should use the European flag and people insisted on keeping the Red Ensign would that be petty?

Unless of course you are winding up!

As a Scot I would not fly one but I respect the choice of others to do so without it feeling it affects me

I actually think it would be quite nice to fly your own flag so to speak, if I was Welsh I would seriously consider flying the dragon standard as my ensign while in local waters.

Obviously this duster should not be flown if travelling abroad, but while sailing around Jockland I think it is a nice touch.

Yes I know about etiquete, but Scotland does have her own parlament now, so surely her merchant fleet should maybe start to look for its own ensign. Anyhow, I just saw it and thought it was rather cool and sent it here as I had never come across one before.
