I've been checking few boats and ran into one I am interested in listed by two different brokers with two different prices (around 25% difference).
Besides the obvious choice based on price. Is there any clever way to handle this situation in my favor?

thanks for any advice.

Use the one who showed you the boat, but base any offer on the lower price and justify it based upon the evidence ...

If you have not seen the boat, check the fees with the brokers first and choose the one who gives best / fastest response and negotiate the fees down to be on par with the one who has the lowest fees ...

if one broker showed you the boat, I'm afraid that he will claim the sale,
try to get to know which broker is the best; best organised, fastest response, professional company behind,...
not necessarrily the cheapest,
you can put pressure to get similar pricing for the brokerage
you could asc other people around, yard people, neighbours, Italian Surveyor, ...which broker has the best reputation

sometimes owners are desperate with one broker, and start to work with another,
while the first broker doesn't erase the boat from his listing

Avoid getting into dialogue with both brokers, as they will both then pressure the seller for commission, which will limit the price reduction the seller can offer to you.

Depending where the boat is actually lying and the local way of life, some of our overseas 'cousins' can have an odd approach!
BArt and Nick are both right.
If it is a boat they fancy listing it is not unknown to have the listing brokers spec and photos copied form the Internet and then a bit added to the price to cover the new guys expectations of a fee and some negotiation room. It is not right but it is done. Many of these 'overseas' brokers are anything but brokers. Some are chancers who do a bit of cleaning, bit of crewing, bit of haggling and so on. Speak to the one who looks the most professional and check them out first.
Alternatively it could just be that hey are 2 different companies, one who is on the ball and works with his owner and the other a lazy type who just lists and forgets until someone calls. Not uncommon I am afraid.
PM me if you want any offline advice or guidance, always happy to advise where I can.
