Seen the recent MBY then? one way of getting your money for the boat, as if I can remember when I visited Weymouth this year a certain Birchwood TS 49 was up for sale at a price I thought was beyond its value.

Or look at the blue beacon on the arch, surely he was not in hot pursuit of a seagull that had just left it's mark on his grp.

Or was he trying a shortcut between Portland Bill and the mainland saving fuel perhaps.

Or was he trying to outdoo the Moonraker off plattefougere this summer.
Your answers are most welcome.

Yes I sae the picture. That's two MBY's sold this month!

Quite spectacular. How on earth can any one do that. Even someone as incompetant as me would struggle to drive a 50ft boat half way up Portland breakwater at 20 knots. Unless of course your vague implication has substance. I say vague, so as not to get you into trouble. I bet an insurance company will be asking some questions.

Yes would be an interesting story to hear, maybe someone fell ill whilst auto pilot on, maybe Stevie Wonder was in command.

Someone must know why it landed there.

How come you've all got your MBY's then. I have subscription to all three (MBY, MBM and PBO) and not received MBY yet. Kim said out on Thurs, I always thought subsribers had theirs delivered day they apperaed in shop? Perhaps I've upset kim and he's put me on the black list. So Haydn's got no chance.

Careless lot, Weymouth boat owners. Was'nt there a Squaddie 50 which went down on some rocks nearby last year?
Talking purely hypothetically here of course are'nt there better ways of scuppering your boat for insurance purposes. That med based Sunseeker in the same issue was a much tidier job. Whoops, should'nt have said that...

As for the Squaddie, its been rebuilt now, you should see it, you cannot tell the repairs at all, its now on the water near to me, thinking about other reports to do with write off etc.

Latest on the blue beacon, thort Byron may have the answer, I can remember a Princess 380 thet I looked at to buy in Weymouth had a blue beacon on it, I think they are volunteers for HM A uxillary coastguard.
