I have really looked hard for this and not found it.
I have written some passage planning software (like Neptune but better; not hard, I know...) and at present I have to hand type tidal diamond details from charts into XML files for it to work.
Of course, I could let you have a load of XML tidal diamond files for East and South coast if it were not for copyright and liability issues...
NL tides of the Dutch hydrographical office. The demo with the 2006 tides is free. All you then have to do is find a dat with exactly the same high water as this year. A bit like reusing a calender.
Is there actually a frequency in tides? Is the tidal data from 1948 the same as 2008, let's say?
South Devon tides run up Channel towards Lyme Bay roughly 3 hours either side of high water Devonport. I leave Salcombe around 3 hours after high water Devonport to go westwards. Works reasonably well between Looe and Dartmouth.
Thanks for that, it agrees roughly with my calculatios - I have an old Reeds with tide charts based on Dover plus this year's Plymouth tables. Too many steps in the calculations for total confidence. (That's at home BTW, the up to date stuff is on board!)
