On line ham radio reciever

TNX Pads for the link, I shall try it out as well - 73s de 8P6DG (altho' not active on the ham bands)

It's well worth a play. Seems to work much better than the web based recievers. Listened to Herb last night for a bit. Then some east coast US marine net then some general US stuff, wow but they like the word "I" out there, don't they! .

There's a data decoder built in, seems OK with psk31 but right now struggling with the german DWD rtty weather broadcast, both the radio & jvcomm struggling with what sounds like a strong signal.

No luck with Carib weather or Carib MM net this morning using station in Florida.

Any nets you know of worth a listen?

Enjoy

Padz - m6bkq, hopefully soon to be 2e0 , intermediate exam next weekend. :)

I downloaded the software and went to 12.359Mhz on USB at the right time but could not hear anything. Can you let me know if you did anyhting else on the software please? Thanks

There is a similar download /online system where you can send as well as receive-becomes very confusing as they give you a temporary call sign which in airspace as opposed to cyberspace is not possible yet it appears you can be communicating via the ground station to which you are linked to any other Ham operator worldwide.
Very confusing to say the least

When it opens up you need to click on "remote, via network" (top left), then that opens another window, click "browse web" 9top left again) then pick a station. All being well you should get a window saying "welcome " or something like that. Click OK then click the "play" button, near top centre. Hopefully that should get you in. You might have to try a few different stations before you find one that works. US stations seem to be the busiest, even if it is what they had for breakfast :)

Enjoy.
