Thanks again everyone. I'm coming round to the idea of deck glands longer term but, having inspected a boat with a soggy balsa cored deck, don't trust myself to do the job properly. Think I'll go for a temporary "lash up" for now and then get someone who knows what they're doing to do a "proper job" over the winter.
