As it happens we will be moored up in Henley that weekend
"Welcome back all the Olympic Athletes who live and train in Henley.
The first British Gold Medal of London 2012 was won by rowers with close connections to Henley. All of the rowing team have spent many hours on our fabulous stretch of river.
Celebrate their return to the town on Saturday 25th August as they parade in a row past followed by an open top bus tour. It's our chance to celebrate their success and applaud their achievements.
•Row Past from Leander Club up to the River & Rowing Museum, downstream to Upper Thames Rowing Club and back to Leander from 10.45am
•Open top bus tour around the town from 11.50
•Meet and greet followed by a Civic Reception in the Town Hall from 12.45
•Reception at Leander Club from 14.00"
