The trip down was OK ,then it got interesting round North Foreland ,the trip back was 4 hours of wishing you were somewhere else and Mrs Oldgit is still moaning.Sorry no pixs.:)

Anyhow some stuff mainly in and around Ramsgate.
The trip down when I could still spare a hand to use the camera.

Nice photos, only thing missing in Ramsgate is "Annes Pantry".....

Was really nice restaurant on the hill - was like going to dinner at grannies, now sadly closed and much missed in the Apollo house.
 
Of course popped up to the "Royal Temple " for a quick one ,excellent food and service,shame the rest of the town is still cooking in the 1950s and one of the fish bars needed a lesson in addition totting up a bill regards ... fish n chips twice and two teas seemed magically to somehow come to more than a fiver than it should have..
 
Looks nice and cozy in the marina, not quite so outside. We went to a nice restaurant/ bar called Cullens Yard I think, right near the Marina when we got stuck there a couple of years ago. We had a lively trip back yesterday as well, 5-6 and wind against tide in the estuary as well, no wonder Mrs Oldgit wasn't impressed... We managed to get from Bradwell/ West Mersea to St Kats in 3 hours still which was good going considering the weather. Boat very crispy with all the salt, copped a few beauties! :)
 
Now know my front windows leak .....at the top.Need to go and wash the old girl down,but could not be bothered when we came ashore.
Woke up the morning after,aching in some not so funny places.
Suprisingly merely hanging on for dear life is so much hard work.
