Yes indeed,on the good ship "Blimey they're still running"we are now keeping to speeds where the engines seem tickety boo,which is around the 10 knot mark (1800 revs)Did try it out on the plane a couple of weeks ago,but it was a struggle to keep it up there.So it was 5 hours back from sunny Ramsgate and up the rainy Medway.Catch anything?

I am diying at the mo so I can only get to the boat at evenings for a beer ath the mooring.

Love too, let us know when you're fit and we'll pop over one weekend.Getting used to 10 knots now,just using the tides more!

Takes to mud like the GMC's take to not running!Sits on the mud at springs where we are.I'll check the tides and get back to you.

well your thread is entitled Oldgit NM so I assume (probably wrongly) that you are talking about Fred alias Oldgit? He has a very slow Princess on the Medway you see.

Aha! Sorry for being so slow,I seem to be unable to adapt to the climate change and have a permanant cold.Yeh Fred saw us last Bank Holiday and commented on our leisurely progress.

Re:some of us dream about 10 knots.

Err caught a few bass,two of which were big enough to take home.
