Er..what about the Boadicea, then? First registered at Maldon in 1808 - or is she too close to home for you?
 
A very good point! I guess that as you have had no other replies you comment may get lost. I do hope you have also e-mailed your comment direct to the CB editor.
 
No, I did'nt think of that - but I will do so, now. I was quite shocked - thought everyone knew about the late Michael Frost, or at least Hervey Benham, and the extraordinary story of the Boadicea, but maybe I should remember that CB is now published by the people who printed a photo of Maldon back to front in YM!
 
I was hoping to get away with that. Did you notice that I pointed it out in my editorial page. That went last and I hadn't picked up our line, vs Boadacea beforehand. It was too late to change the feature by then. So... sorry again.
