Old XM 260 inflatable is it Hypalon or PVC construction.

Hi, I have just acquired an old XM 260 inflatable, which has air leaking from an old repair patch. The transom and thwart are natural coloured hardwood ply and an alloy outboard plate (I have seen grey versions with a plastic plate on the web). Does anyone know if its of Hypalon or PVC construction.

This polymarine.com/advice/pvc-or-hypalon/ may help. Not listed there but almost certainly PVC as it is a badged "generic" Chinese type.

Good morning Trenona, thanks for your reply. Yes this inflatable is proving to be made of PVC, it would be useful if manufactures added this info on the specifications plate.
