Old sink drainage pump service...?

Hi - how do I service my old sink drainage pump? I think the washers need replacing?
Any tips?

I have some information about these pumps on my PC.

I will have a look later and forward what I have.

Grip the knurled parts(cross-textured sections) and unscrew them; this may require plumbers grips or even a stilson wrench to achieve.
