A wonderful Client of mine told me when I did some work for him recently that he had some old crappy rope at home that he might drop in.. he's an old character... a loveable rogue (to those who haven't been on the receiving end!).. I came home on Saturday to find a box in my porch. I opened it in trepidation.. half expecting a smiling urchin to screw my world up... but there it was... 57 meters of pristine 14mm Braid on Braid Polyester rope.. what do I do? I authored a presentable Will for him... quite ordinary.. I think I might owe him an expensive divorce.. as far as I know He's mad about his third wife.. how do I pay this back??

Shoot most of the rest of the legal profession.

... apparently I have enough rope to hang them... its slower and more painful...

Any useful thoughts?

Giving and receiving favours doesn't have a time constraint (nor an exact monetary value). Just thank him and tell him you owe him one!
