Hi,
I have an old Laser 2 dinghy which I have acquired, with built in spinnaker tube and a symmetrical spinnaker. I am not entirely sure of the uphill/downhaul system. There is a sheet take away system on the foredeck which I think attaches to fairlead on middle of spinnaker pole, only when I pull the elastic bungee up to the pole it doesn’t seem to let the pole ride high enough? Am I missing something? Also there is two cleats port/starboard which point at to micro blocks at foot of mast, foredeck side which I think goes to a fairlead about 3/4 way up mast for top lifting. I see some info where a bungee is incorporated into this, any information or diagrams greatly appreciated, checked the manual, and it is not that apparent..help appreciated!
Thanks Harry….a few photos attached
