Old Johnson Outboard

I've been given a Johnson 3HP twin cyinder outboard engine - Manufacturer code JHR-22c. I need to replace the coils and other parts of the electrics. Does anyone know wher I can get spares for this engine?

I did not have a happy experience with South Coast Marine a few years back when I was after Evinrude parts. To be fair though it was just after OMC folded and I did get the bits from them in the end.

[/ QUOTE ] Are you sure about that number. Look again with a magnifying glass and I think you will find it is JHF-22 making it a 1967 model.

Its a good idea to get these things correct when ordering spares!
