So, any of you lot going to the Old Gaffers Festival at Yarmouth this coming weekend? I'll be there on Harold Hayles if anyone fancies a beer on a stinkpot.

The beer tent is good - last year I offered to buy some drinks and was asked for a dark and stormy. As all the ales had esoteric names I bought a pint - bloody expensive it was too. The recipient was seen happily talking to himself later.....

Trouble is finding a space 'cos you Solent lot get there first and it looks like being bumpy on the buoys this weekend!
Was that your Nirvana in front of us in Lymington last weekend?

I might saunter down for this one if I can find some crew.
It is not at all clear from the website what time the races start and finish.

I think I'm in almost under the bridge with one other along side. I think on harold hayles they are only allowed 3 deep to keep access clear for the bridge.
