Old dogs on boats

It's tough when pets get old. We had to have one put to sleep last week. They says it's the final act of kindness but doesn't always feel like it at the time.

I hope your dog has a few more good years left in him.

I am truly sorry to hear this....yes, we have done this also.... and it’s always left that nagging doubt....did we let him suffer too long ?....did we take away a life that he was content to live ?
