It's tough when pets get old. We had to have one put to sleep last week. They says it's the final act of kindness but doesn't always feel like it at the time.

I hope your dog has a few more good years left in him.
I am truly sorry to hear this....yes, we have done this also.... and it’s always left that nagging doubt....did we let him suffer too long ?....did we take away a life that he was content to live ?😞☹️

thought as much...
could be nice, but definitely too little (and bet too expensive as well)
No.....reasonable price...but I can’t remember how much...but that’s why I also always order a side plate of fries....just in case the main meal is a little light

This thread’s cracking me up! 😂 Bouba, you’ve nailed it with the fries strategy—always smart to have a backup when the main’s looking “artsy.” 🐶🍟

And the dog-friendly upgrades are such a thoughtful touch for your old pal. Love how much effort you’re putting in for him. Keep sharing the updates—it’s a good mix of laughs and heartwarming moments! 😊

We have a sixteen year old spaniel that has always loved the boat. This year has been different though. She’s completely deaf and now has restricted vision. She is fine in the shade or on a cloudy day but sunshine on white boats clearly hurts her eyes. She’s very hard work now but still happy and if we don’t go for walkies she just will not leave us alone!
Unfortunately we had to say a very sad goodbye to our beloved friend a couple of weeks ago, so make sure you keep treating your four legged friends while you can. It’s very quiet without them…
