Old Cowers floating bridge

The old Cowes floating bridge is now sat in Portsmouth harbour next to the Gosport side ferry port. Rather sad really, I've used it many times - waiting to be scrapped I guess.

The largest boat built by Fairey Marine and thought to have covered the most miles. Yes, in Portsmouth, looks set for scrap.

Just a shame the new No 6 version isn't working as the Jenny Lee replacement has early closing most nights it seems apnart from Friday and Sat

Cowes Harbour put a LTM out this week, the new one is being moved in to place in early may, 3rd I think. River is closed for a while.
